The 41st Annual Cross Plains Trout Days is back and better than ever! Join the community May 1–3 for a weekend packed with live music, local flavors, and family-friendly fun — all along the beautiful Black Earth Creek.
Start your morning with the Trout Days 5K or the Tot Trout Trot, then stick around for kids' activities, educational exhibits, fly-fishing clinics, and Lions Club train rides. Don’t miss the crowd-favorite KenDucky Derby — where you can cheer on your adopted duck for a chance to win big prizes! Adopt a duck at Vessel Cafe and Crossroads Coffeehouse!
Adults can sip and stroll at the popular Wine Walk, stopping by over 20 local businesses to sample wines, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks. Plus, the Creekside Music Fest will keep the good vibes rolling all day with bands like Some Assembly Required, the Augie Dougherty Band, Gin, Chocolate & Bottle Rockets, and Host of Sparrows.
With food stands, a library book sale, and a brand-new Lions Legacy Pavilion groundbreaking, there’s something for everyone at Trout Days!
