We raise delicious organic apples in our southwestern Wisconsin orchard. Our apple varieties include a range of flavors far beyond what you will find in the supermarket! As a CSA member, you will receive deliveries for 12 weeks in late summer and fall. You choose your share size (small/medium/large/extra-large) and delivery schedule (weekly or biweekly). Cancel or reschedule deliveries to meet your needs.

Optionally, you can order extra #2 grade apples (for juicing or making sauce) or buy our delicious applesauce and apple butter. At many of our delivery sites, you can pick up vegetables from another CSA farm at the same time as you receive our apples.

Small Family Farm CSA 🥦🥚🍎☕💐🍁🍯

Details/Description:

Established in 2006, we have been breathing life back into the endangered Small Family Farm for 18 years. As a Certified Organic Vegetable farm the CSA model has always been our primary focus on our farm.  We collaborate with Blue Roof Orchard to offer organic apples and we work with our Amish neighbor to provide organic eggs. 

Our summer CSA shares are delivered for 20 weeks on Wednesdays from the first week of June until the middle of October. In addition we also offer a Fall Share and a Thanksgiving Box delivery which are larger boxes packed with your favorite storage veggies. We grow just about every vegetable that can be grown in Wisconsin as well as delicious fruits such as melons and strawberries. We offer egg, apple, coffee and flower shares as well as offering add-ons such as maple syrup and honey.

Included with your membership you'll receive our Weekly Dig Newsletters with stories, pictures and favorite recipes from the farm. We like to use our newsletters as a way to enrich the CSA experience for our members and for them to feel like they are part of our family and to intimately experience the growing season.

Our vegetable farm shares are fully customizable shares delivered weekly during the 20 week season June - October. We deliver shares on Thursdays in Fitchburg at Hop Haus Brewing (Noon-8pm) and in Verona at Hop Haus Brewing (4pm-8:30pm). We also deliver to Epic Systems for Employees there. Our shares make it easy to be part of a CSA. With our two sizes Petite and Medium guiding the size of your share, you are then able to make adjustments to your share each weekend to make sure it fits your weekly needs. Plus we offer a flex share for folks that can not make the full 20 week commitment. They gain access to the ordering database and just place orders on weeks you need vegetables. We also are a vendor at the Wednesday Dane County Farmers markets, as well as the winter markets.

Lovefood Farm is located on 30 acres of beautiful rolling land in the town of Pleasant Springs, about 25 minutes east of Madison. We (David, Abby and our daughter Soleia) grow 5 acres of certified organic vegetable and herbs that are devoted to our CSA as well as sales to local farmers markets, food pantries, restaurants and grocery stores.

We love growing vegetables and really enjoy sending them to our CSA families. We offer regular and small shares on weekly or every other week schedules from June to October (18 weeks). We also offer a 4 week fall storage share as a potential add-on. And best yet, you can have your share delivered directly to your home OR pick it up from us on the farm in Stoughton, at the Eastside Madison Farmers Market, at our Vilas Neighborhood drop site or at the Saturday Dane County Farmers Market.

We grow a wide variety of veggies and culinary herbs and partner with other local farms to provide the couple of veggies that we don't grow on our own farm (e.g. sweet corn and potatoes).  Regular size shares get 8-13 varieties of produce each week and are geared for 2 veggies lovers or a family of 4-ish.  Small shares are about half the size and get 5-8 varieties of veggies each week and are perfect for folks who want fresh produce but not SO much.  Each week, members receive a newsletter with a list of what's in the share, some recipe ideas and a little new about the farm.  For more information, visit our website at www.lovefoodfarm.com

Vitruvian Farms grows Certified Organic vegetables and mushrooms in McFarland available at their farm store, online store with home delivery, and through their CSA program. CSA members can choose between a full or half share (a box of produce every week for 18 weeks or a box every other week for a total of 9 weeks) as well as adding organic eggs. Pick up at the farm, have your CSA delivered to your home across Dane County, or select one of several pick up options, including at Exact Sciences and Promega (for employees only) and the Superette at Mint Mark.

Voted the Best CSA in Madison Magazine, each Vitruvian CSA box is packed with organic vegetables, fruit and mushrooms, making it simple to commit to a season of healthy, local eating. The CSA program runs from early June to the end of September.

This is our very first year of offering a cheese and dairy CSA! Each month, our cheesemakers and mongers will select cheeses and dairy that represent the month and season, along with some additional surprises and delights specially made just for this CSA. Be the first to try new cheeses under development by cheesemaker Anna Landmark, get exclusive cheeses from cheesemaker friends locally and across the country, and unique chef collaborations.

Each month you will receive 6 lbs of cheese and butter:
- 1 lbs of Landmark Creamery specialties (Anabasque, brebis, Fontina, Tallgrass, etc.)

We are a pasture based farm primarily raising Scottish Highland Cattle. Highland cattle are well known for their unique shaggy coats and large horns both male and female animals. We have converted nearly 200 acres of tillable ground back into perennial pastures to improve soil health and water quality in our area. Our beef can be purchased off our website (www.highlandspringfarm.com) and picked up at our home farm off Lalor Road on Fitchburg/s far east side. During the summer months, we also sell at the Westside Community Market.

Details/Description:

Harmony Valley Farm, located in southwest Wisconsin, has been growing the highest quality certified organic vegetables for over 40 years.  We are experienced growers and have been serving CSA families for over 30 years.  We have a long delivery season from May to December and offer vegetable, beef & pork shares.  Each delivery comes with an informative email including delicious recipes as well as storage and serving suggestions.  Our vegetable shares include a diverse array of vegetable selections from staples such as carrots, green beans, sweet corn and tomatoes, along with some seasonal specialty crops such as asparagus, mini-sweet peppers, and baby ginger.

We offer CSA delivery to residential and business locations in the Madison area twice a week on Thursday and Saturday.  Specifically, our Saturday route includes delivery to residential pick-up sites serving the Fitchburg and Verona areas. 

As stewards of the land, we use farming practices to optimize the health of our soil, plants, and the surrounding ecosystem.  We also have an extensive food safety program and undergo annual third-party audit.  Your support of our farm allows us to pay a fair living wage and offer benefits including health insurance and a retirement plan to our professional, skilled, hardworking crew members. 

We host two on-farm events each year and encourage members to come for a visit and see the farm for themselves!  Join us in June for our annual Strawberry Day, then return in the fall for our Harvest Party in late September.

Pick out 100% of our weekly produce with us. No boxes or rigid pickup times. Just come visit our farm (or sweet corn stands around Madison) and grab whatever produce you need for the week. Or come every other week - it's up to you! We value flexibility just as much as you do!

Our CSA is $300 and comes with a bunch of free farm-related stuff: $30 worth of free produce, $20 off your Christmas tree at our farm, a free large bouquet of U-Cut flowers ($12), 6 passes to visit our farm ($45), a reusable bag, and a tour of our farm/CSA operation. Returning members can get even more free produce when they refer friends. Healthcare providers often offer a CSA incentive too - making eating healthy even more affordable.

We cannot wait for the start of our 5th CSA season and we hope you're able to join us on our mission to connecting our communities with local agriculture.

Horeb, WI.  We are committed to using sustainable practices, supporting our local food network and building community around local food. Our eggs are sold at various local grocery stores, including Miller's and Willy St. Coops.  We provide eggs for the members of Crossroads, Blue Moon and Squashington CSA's as well as for local restaurants and bakeries, such as Bloom Bake Shop, Origin Bread, Sunn Cafe and Brix cider.  We also offer home, business and neighborhood deliveries of eggs. We offer two CSA types: 1) Seasonal Floral CSAs through downtown flowership Daffodil*Parker with pick up (Madison) or delivery options, and 2) Our on farm Workshare CSA where members sign up to come help out to work on the farm (Brooklyn) in exchange for farm goods; no money exchanged, simply commit to helping out on the farm for your farm share (Veggies: carrots, beans, spinach, kale, greens, radish, beets, leeks, potatoes, snap peas, turnips, sweet peppers, hot peppers, ground cherries, tomatillos, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, broccoli, tomatoes, romanesco, kohlrabi, onions, cucumber, squash, zucchini, asparagus, celery, garlic; Herbs: dill, basil, oregano, mint, lemongrass, sage, thyme, chives; Fruit: raspberries, mulberries, black raspberries, melons, rhubarb, apples, pears; Other items: duck eggs, chicken eggs, honey, and flower bouquets our flower bouquets are our staple item (Erin is talented!)


We are herbicide and pesticide free (organic without the USDA label).  And we free range the ducks and chickens.

Drifting Prairie Farm is a local farm that produces beautiful, fresh, seasonal flowers and foliage. We sell our flowers in bulk buckets, or "Buckets of Blooms" for DIY events.

Buckets of Blooms is wonderful option for folks who like to create. Our bulk buckets of flowers are typically used for weddings, but could also be perfect for all sort of events—maybe it’s your wedding, a book club gathering, or just a dinner party that you want to be extra special.  Each bucket holds approximately 75 stems of just harvested local flowers in unique colors and textures. When you purchase local flowers for your event, you are investing in your local community economy, and a woman owned farm that is guided by regenerative farming practices.

Drifting Prairie Farm offers bulk buckets of flowers and foliage for your special event from July-October.

Sunny Side Down LLC is owned by sisters Amber Chitwood and Mandy Wagner. Located out of rural Dodgeville, you can find us at Mount Horeb Farmers Market, Spring Green Farmers Market, Ridgeway Farmers Market, Mineral Point Farmers Market, and Dodgeville Farmers Market (not to mention dozens of community events all year long). We started Sunny Side Down Farm in 2017, growing and selling produce and eggs from our small hobby farm. In 2018, we decided to switch from produce to baked goods by utilizing Mandy's baking skills and Amber's product development and supply chain background. Over several years, we built a commercial-style bakery kitchen in the lower level of our home on the farm. With 5 ovens, we can bake a lot of bread and bring it fresh to markets! Customers love us for our Sourdough Bread and locally famous cookies in over a dozen different flavors. Crossroads Community Farm, LLC is a 25 acre, certified organic vegetable farm specializing in diversified vegetable production. The upcoming season marks our 21st year growing vegetables for our community! We run an 800 member customizable CSA, or veggie share, and also provide crops to grocery stores, pantries and restaurants through wholesale accounts.

Our farm is focused both on high quality organic vegetable production and the continuing expansion of our social justice work, including: using sustainable/resilient growing practices, providing free vegetables to food desert neighborhoods through our Everyone Deserves Healthy Food program, farmer training through the state apprenticeship program, and community connection through our farm blog and farm events. We started this work as young, privileged, college-educated environmentalists who wanted to grow food in a way that nurtures both the bodies that consume it and the land that produces it. We continue to do this work both because of the life-giving food we grow, and because we are challenged to continually work toward justice in our own sphere of privilege. We consistently work to deepen our community work, with food access being a huge part of what we do. CSA members get the option to customize their shares. Returning members are eligible for certain discounts. All members get to come to our farm events, including a strawberry pick and t-shirt making event in late June AND a barn party in September with music and food carts.
